2. Click the General tab, and under System you will see the version.
How to tell how much System memory [RAM] you have
1. Right Click on My Computer and choose Properties.
2. Click the General tab, and under Computer you will see the RAM
amount. ###,### KB RAM. For example 8 - 16 in the Tech Support
form is 8,000 - 16,000 KB RAM in the General Tab.
How to tell what speed you are connected to the Internet
*You must be connected to the internet
1. Look in your System Tray (Clock, Sound Control, etc) and find
an icon of two computers.
2. Double click the icon to get a popup window. Next to speed you
will see a number. See the chart below to help determine what speed
you have.
- Dial Up = 14400 - 56000 Kbps
- ISDN = 128 Kbps
- Cable = 100.0 Mbps
- DSL = 10/100.0 Mbps
- T1 = 100.0 Mbps
- LAN = 100.0 Mbps or above
